Remote Learning during the period of school closure from January 2021

Remote learning letter for Y2 to Y6 12th February 2021
Details of the work that your child should complete at home will be communicated to parents via ClassDojo and to pupils from Year 2 to Year 6 via Google Classrooms. Parents / children should have their individual logins for these platforms but please get in touch with the school office if you need a reminder of your details.
Remote lessons will mainly take the form of pre-recorded teaching followed by an independent activity. At least one live session will be held for each class each week.
Children in EYFS and Year 1 will have a live weekly check in and phonics session on Mondays via Zoom: Nyong’o Class at 9am; Attenborough Class at 9:30am
Children from Year 2 to Year 6 will have a daily check-in session via Google Meet at the following times:
- Kahlo and Sentamu Classes: Monday- 10.40am/ Tuesday- Friday- 9am
- Farah & Johnson Classes: 10am daily
Additional live story sessions may also be held through the week. Please see the weekly timetable for more details.
All children are expected to attend the live sessions and to follow the protocols below. Please let us know if your child will be unable to attend.
